Keith Gray & Co make furniture from timber throughout in a variety of woods and materials
with various finishes. In the gallery/slide show you will see many fine examples of our
work, both traditional and contemporary. These images are all from our customer’s homes.
The painted furniture is made from poplar, known commercially as tulipwood, with other items
made from oak, ash and maple. Painted finishes are either achieved with broken colour
techniques or solid colour eggshell. In addition to ensuring that the furniture we make
looks good we lay a great deal of stress on how the furniture will function.
We take great care to build cupboards that provide accessible storage, avoiding bending
and straining where possible. We try to ensure that all the various items that need to
be stored have logical place and the rooms ‘works’ in a really efficient manner.
